School Visits
Step into our outdoor classroom
A classroom without walls
Immerse the next generation in the natural world and be inspired by the wonderful wildlife it contains. Offering an unrivalled range of diverse habitats, the park provides the perfect environment in which to learn.
Education Packages
Our education packages will make good use of the park by combining short indoor activities, both in our Discovery Centre and purpose built classroom-sized hide, with plenty of outdoor exploring. The ‘Discover’ activities have been produced using the national curriculum as a guideline whilst appreciating the need for practical, hands-on interactions to stimulate learning. Some activities have their own activity sheets which is completed during the visit and retained by the pupils for future reference.

Let us help you plan your day
We want you and your pupils to get the most out of a visit to Pensthorpe. To help you plan your day, we offer complimentary tickets for two teachers to come and get to know the park and its facilities. Whilst you are here, we could arrange for you to meet a member of our team to talk about the ‘Discover’ activities and prepare a visit schedule.
If you have any questions or would like to make a booking please call us on 01328 851465 (option 2) or email us at education@pensthorpe.com.
