Pumpkin Festival ‘After Dark’ Family Night
The Pumpkin Festival is staying open after dark – and the whole family is invited! ??
Wrap up warm and join us for a special evening adventure as we light up the Pumpkin Festival, maize maze and outdoor play for a family night unlike anything else this October half term.
There’ll be pumpkins to choose and carve, a maze to brave, fire performers to watch and plenty of opportunities to play and explore after the sun goes down.
Start your evening in our floodlit Pumpkin Patch, where you can explore the field and choose your perfect pumpkin – Pumpkins are sold separately all all different shapes and sizes.
Then head into our Pumpkin Carving Tent and turn it into your very own creation!
Feeling brave? Venture into the maize after dark and take on the Curse of the Cornfield, our spooky seasonal twist on the much-loved maze – made even more atmospheric under the floodlights. ??
Our outdoor play area will also be floodlit, giving little adventurers the rare chance to climb, slide and explore Pensthorpe after dark.
Across the evening you can enjoy:
- ? Floodlit Pumpkin Patch
- ? Pumpkin Carving Tent
- ? Floodlit Curse of the Cornfield maize maze
- ? Fire entertainers performing at two points during the evening
- ? Floodlit outdoor play
- ? Fire pits and marshmallow toasting
- ? Plenty of autumnal photo opportunities
- ? Street food truck
- ☕ Food and hot drinks available from our Café and Snack Shack

Want to warm up and keep the adventure going indoors?
Hootz House will also be open during Family Night, with bookable play slots available throughout the evening.
