Join us for a day of fun and learning at Pensthorpe Open Farm Event on Sunday 25th June, 11am – 4pm, on our Farm grounds (before the car park).

We’ll have something for everyone, with sheep shows, a talk from a trustee of the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust, Nick Acheson, discover beekeeping and hay.

You can also enjoy discounted entry to the reserve, so come and explore our beautiful gardens, woodlands, and lakes.

Sheep Shows

Learn about the different breeds of sheep that we have on the farm and see them up close. There will be two shows throughout the day, at 12pm and 2pm.

Talk from Nick Acheson

Nick Acheson is a trustee of the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust and a passionate naturalist and conservationist. He will be giving a talk on the important work the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust are doing.

Discover Beekeeping & Hay

Learn about the fascinating world of bees and how they help to pollinate our crops. There will be a demonstration of beekeeping, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. Get the opportunity to learn about how hay is made and learn about the importance of hay for livestock.

Discounted Entry to the Reserve

On the day of the event, you can enjoy discounted entry to the Pensthorpe Reserve. Explore our beautiful gardens, woodlands, and lakes and see the variety of wildlife that we have on site. Buy tickets on the day at a discounted rate of £9.95.
