Hop over to Pensthorpe for a GIANT Egg hunt between 5th April to 22nd April.
Join us for a CRACKING EGGSTRAVAGANZA here at Pensthorpe. Our Easter Holiday trail is full of giant, 4FT 3d eggs placed around the reserve. EGGSPLORE and learn more about our feathered friends and guests, it’s a fully immersive, multi sensory trail.
NEW FOR 2025 – INTRODUCING OUR LAMB VIEWING AREA – you can see cute lambs with their mums and we have an authentic shepherd’s hut to see how shepherds lived in the past.
Our trail will be fully immersive, multi-sensory EGGSELLENT fun, with lots of learning too for an all-round family day out. Once you have completed the trail, don’t forget to head to the shop to collect your ‘Grow your own Beans’ and a LIMITED EDITION badge.

On Good Friday and Easter Saturday you’ll also have an opportunity for a ‘Build an Easter Lamb or Easter Bunny’ opportunity in our Discovery Centre at the EGGSELLENT price of £15.00 (sessions are 12.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm). These are pre-bookable, at the time of booking your ticket.
When booking tickets for the event, choose the event ‘Day Tickets’ and as long as you choose a date between Saturday 5th April and Tuesday 22nd April you will have full access to the GIANT egg hunt and all the amazing sights and sounds here at Pensthorpe.

Step into our giant maize maze and become a detective as you follow a trail of evidence, eliminate suspects and uncover the truth behind The Great Cornspiracy. Search for clue boards hidden throughout the maze, examine the evidence and decide which of our unlikely suspects could be responsible.
