If you’re new to the sounds of birds and curious to learn more, this friendly and informative session is the perfect introduction. Join our expert guides as they reveal why birds sing and call, what different sounds mean, and how to start recognising them with confidence.
This day session will be held in our Garden Room, learning about why birds sing and discussing the best techniques to identify and remember bird songs and calls. After a buffet lunch at approx. 12pm*, you will be heading out onto the reserve to put the theory into practice whilst listening to some of the birds found on site. This event is aimed for novices and appeals to bird lovers of all ages – all are welcome.
