We’re 2025 Norfolk Rural Business Winners!

Norfolk Rural Business Awards 2025

On the 27th June, members of the team went along to the Royal Norfolk Show. We’d been nominated at the Norfolk Rural Business Awards in the Best Rural Tourism Attraction category, kindly sponsored by Thursford.

And we won!

There are so many amazing places to visit in this area, so to be chosen as the winner is a real feather in our cap. Congratulations to everyone else who was nominated, and our friends at Watatunga Wildlife Reserve who were runners up.

Ben Marshall, our Managing Director said: “It was great to meet the judges on the day and give them the grand tour of Pensthorpe! The team work incredibly hard to make sure we’re an attraction that has something for everyone, from pure nature lovers to families letting off steam, and this award is testament to the work they all do. Well done team!”

The awards were launched in 2024 by Norfolk County Council in partnership with the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA), to celebrate the achievements of rural businesses across the county. In 2025 there were 70 entries, with the nine winners announced at the Royal Norfolk Show.

Cllr Fabian Eagle, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth said: “Businesses and individuals like these showcase the very best of Norfolk and play an important role in our rural communities and economy.

“They deserve public recognition for what they achieve and represent and that’s what these awards are all about.”
