GENERAL MANAGER
£30K - £40K pa

Having doubled its visitor numbers over the last 6 years, Pensthorpe has an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager with the vision and energy needed to generate sustainable growth and take the business to a new level.

Set  in 500 acres of stunning countryside, Pensthorpe is a centre of excellence offering a combination of agricultural, conservation and retail operations.

The number one priority is for a seasoned professional - possibly from within the tourism industry and with an interest in conservation - who has:

• Excellent communication and people management skills with proven ability to lead, motivate and further develop a small, highly committed team.

• Knowledge of employment and other relevant legislation together with a thorough understanding of risk assessment and HS&E issues.

• Financial acumen with the experience needed to accept full P&L responsibility whilst setting up and maintaining robust financial controls and reporting procedures.

• Outstanding strategic planning skills with the ability to formulate and drive through the innovative initiatives which will deliver sustained and profitable growth.
